Somewhere in junior high school, I noticed that I could spell my name with a few quick slashes through a line. I stopped cartooning for the next ten years, but I never forgot the signature. I had other reasons for drawing again, but one was literary economy: it seemed a shame to waste such a curious trick of the alphabet. |
